Hello all, a new day, a new posting, Crochet is like
tapestry, its delicate, lacy and rather feminine, a must for all women, also
for anyone who is house proud. Crochet has so much to offer for the decor of one’s
home, we have runners, doilies, mandalas, baskets, wall hangings, the list is
quite exhaustive, today my emphasis is on doilies… so here goes
A doily is generally a centre piece to be used on you
tables, a set of dollies called ‘duchess set’, is for your dressing table. Mini doilies can be used as coasters. These attractive
doilies are made in cotton thread, they are delicate, lacy and intricate. There
are some great colors and threads in the market. It is a great gift idea too,
so have a look at some I have made, I love making them.
